Laura Numeroff has done such a nice job with all of her “If You Give a…” books. I was excited to read her newest addition to the series- If You Give a Mouse a Brownie. It was published on October 18, 2016.
If You Give a Mouse a Brownie is a circular, cause and effect story, just like many of Numeroff’s other books. This one is good for little ones to read because the vocabulary is at a great level for Kindergarteners and 1st graders, especially. The storyline is entertaining and fun. The illustrations, by Felicia Bond, are as cute as ever.
This book might be a great Christmas or birthday gift for a 5,6, or 7 year old. Maybe throw in a box of brownie mix too!
Below are some extra materials to go along with the story, in case you’d like to check them out:
Hopefully you get a chance to read this latest book in the series soon, if you haven’t yet!

My daughter has most of these, I wasn’t aware of this one. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to add it to her younger baby brother’s wishlist so she can read it to him.
Great, Crystal!

My kids are getting too old for these books now, but we have LOVED the If You Give A Mouse A Cookie series of books…. not sure if we have seen this brownie one, but will ask the kids. We get them and they read them to little kids at church or neighbors who also enjoy them…. and we can enjoy the story with them. 🙂
Sounds great!
