It’s not too late to start a Christmas countdown! I downloaded this cute Santa freebie from Teacher Pay Teachers. The Teachers Pay Teachers site is for anyone. You don’t have to be a classroom teacher to find great resources there!
I printed it in black and white, so my daughter and I glued red squares to the hat that we had cut out from sale ads. Just glue a cotton ball every day and it’s a fun way to count down to Christmas!
There were a few similar free Christmas countdowns available on Teachers Pay Teachers. Just search “Santa Advent Calendar” or “Santa Countdown” and pick your favorite.

So excited that the kids are having fun with my advent Santa! I work with preschoolers and elementary aged children in speech therapy. Of course, they started telling me all about Christmas the day we got back from our Thanksgiving break. One of my four year olds was telling me Christmas was coming in two days! But we still have so much of Santa’s Beard to go. Have fun with the countdown, and Merry Christmas. Lisette from More Than Words

Thanks Lisette! I agree, it’s hard for most 4 year olds to understand we have to wait 25 days with all of the holiday excitement the whole month of December. Thanks again for making this!
